About ClinELEVATE Clinical Research Academy
After years of working in clinical research two seasoned professionals, Myra Fonville and LaShoun Sanders, established ClinELEVATE Clinical Research Academy to fill a void in the industry. That void was a lack of adequate training. Myra and LaShoun witnessed a decline in the quality of training available in the clinical research industry.
LaShoun and Myra want to elevate clinical research training by providing trainees with a creating a new type of learning environment.
ClinELEVATE combines video teaching modules and reading assignments with live virtual classroom sessions weekly. Wanting to provide more they formed collaborations with AI Fast Trials and Jeeva Clinical Trials. AI Fast Trials produced and trained an AI agent that can answer any course related questions the trainee might have. The collaboration with Jeeva Clinical Trials allows Trainees to use an actual EDC system.

Myra Fonville
Founder and CEO of WilMar Clinical Consulting, Owner/COO of Interim Visits, and Co-Founder of ClinElevate Clinical Research Academy, Myra brings over 25 years of clinical research experience, having transitioned from a retail pharmacist to a seasoned Senior CRA.
Through her leadership, mentoring initiatives, and commitment to advancing diversity in clinical trials, Myra is passionate about helping others build meaningful and sustainable careers in research.
LaShoun Sanders
Founder of iHealthClinical and Co-Founder of ClinElevate Clinical Research Academy, LaShoun is a clinical research leader with deep expertise in site management, patient recruitment, operational compliance, and workforce development.
Together, Myra and LaShoun share a mission-driven focus: increasing access, advancing training excellence, and creating clear pathways to success for emerging clinical research professionals.
They founded ClinElevate Clinical Research Academy to equip the next generation with technical mastery and real-world application—providing a true launchpad for careers in clinical research.
